This is what I get for watching the Food Channel. Can someone recommend a good Thai restaurant? The Pad Thai section of my mouth just went into overdrive!

Many thanks in advance!

A restaurant called Thai Su, on Paraguay 406 is ok. It is one of the best Thai in Argenitna, nothing is perfect, but at least is better than any other I had tried. I'm Thai, normally do all the cooking myself. The previous chef was Thai, before left, he taught his partner the Thai cooking.

Good luck,

This place is more of a Chinese. It has nothing to do with Thai Cooking.

Green Curry in the downtown, sorry only mon to fri, look it up on Guia Oleo.

What are you talking about? I know the owner and his family. They are all from Chiang Mai and cook very authentic Thai dishes.

This place is awesome. By far my favorite Thai place outside of Thailand. You can't go wrong there. Very cheap too!
Why are we all talking about a place in NY?

Gibraltar do Green and Red thai curries, but they're more like the ones you buy from the supermarket.

Its all the same once you got it down the neck, then an hour later you are hungry again.

1) When Cocina Sunae is open (they're closed for a week or two to catch their breath), I would recommend that puerta cerrada. Considering they cater events at the Thai embassy, I would say that their food is pretty damned authentic.

2) Other than that, Lotus in barrio chino is the best Thai restaurant you're going to find. (And it's good.)

I'm not quite sure why no one mentioned these two restaurants already.
