Need restaurant recommendations

Hi everyone

I have a friend who will be visiting BA for 2 nights. Can anyone recommend any "hidden gems" for dining? He has $$ but likes to eat at non-pretentious places. Anyone have a favorite hole in the wall to recommend?

I like Dada, a tiny place at San Martin and Paraguay. The Lomo Dada is great.
The enviroment too. But the deal there is to dinner at the bar.

vietnamese/indochine/south asia/spice islands great food, impeccable service, great wines. lovely place, good atmosphere. sophisticated but absolutely not pretentios. not cheap but in my opinion well worth it.

I like restó on montevideo near cordoba. it's pretty much the definition of a "hidden gem".

I ate in Tancat today and had some shrimp with garlic and steamed salmon served with gallician potatoes . It was fantastic!!!!

Parrilla, yes. La Choza, on Gascon 1701. The best parrilla in Palermo Viejo!
