New book! Kafka On the Shore

I found this book as it was strikingly similar to my running away from home to BsAs. I just started it if anyone wants to join!

I am a bit late for this to be a topical post but I have been looking for this book for ages! Fancy doing a book swap if you've finished it?

I read a Kafka book many years ago, I think it was called "The Trial" I needed therapy afterwards, I hope this is a bit happier, otherwise we could end up witha suicide club.

The two kafkas have no connection with each other.

Kafka on the Shore is the title of the book. The author is the Japanese author Haruki Murakami.

I'd like to read this too if anyone wants to trade.

Loved this book, think I even have two copies back in london. Will try bring them back when I go home for xmas for swaps.

Would recommend "Hard-boiled wonderland and the end of the world" to any murakami fans who haven't gotten round to reading that one yet. Mesmerizing stuff.
