New in town, looking forward to meeting people

Hi All,
I recently arrived in Buenos Aires and hope to make it a long-term stay. Previously I was a city planning consultant in Florida, USA and took a leave of absence to do some travel around South America. During the trip I came to Buenos Aires, fell in love with it, and am in the process transitioning careers and trying to settle in here. I'd love to meet some more people in the area!

What area are you currently in? There is plenty of opportunity to get out and about in the Palermo area. Tomorrow would be a good start being St. Paddy's and all.

Not sure yet on the career plans...my criteria right now is "income" But I do hope to get into writing and am building up my portfolio now.

Small world that your brother is a city planner...there aren't that many of us!
