New Years in Bs As - suggestions?

Hi everyone,

I will have family visiting Bs As at New Years, and my plan is to do something with the family before going out with the friends (that seems to be the way to do it here).

As for the family- essentially I guess the idea would be to go out to dinner, but if there exists something slightly more culturally invigorating (some kind of show or special type of experience) I'd like to take them to that.

So- any restaurant suggestions (or advice- I imagine a reservation is in order) or other family-appropriate activites for the evening?

I think it will be convenient if you let us know in which neighbourhood are you going to be around. Then it will be easier to find a good place for you.

go to puerto madero. i hear they have fireworks.

they also have good restaurants around the area

Puerto Madero is nice, more with the fireworks. But keep in mind the public transportation issue. There are almost no buses or taxis at night. Most restaurants offer a nice menu and after midnight, music to dance, latino music like salsa, cumbia, rock nacional.
