Newbie in town

Hola expats. I'm part of that American Invasion you're talking about. I'm new in town, just got an apartment in Congreso. I read in a guide to moving to Argentina that many of the people who come to live here end up leaving in their first year, so it's a good thing (karma-wise and financially) to make a mutually beneficial purchase/sale of household items and furniture. Seems smart. But how does one do that? Is there an easy way to fund those people? Thanks for your help and guidance. And thank you for having what looks like a very informative and interesting (if at times combative) website. I like a place where opinions abound, and there seems to be no shortage of those here.
