Hi!
I've never been to this before and this is my last chance so I'm going to go tonight with my roommates. But it's a little overwhelming, there is so much going on! Can someone give us advice about a good route to take so we take in the best places without too much travelling in between? And I think there's a free bus, right?
Cheers!

For the free bus rides, print this out since you'll probably need to show the bus drivers, I think: http://www.lanochedelosmuseos.gob.ar/paselibreimp.html

And depending on where you are and where you intend to go, this would be a good guide to pick from: http://www.lanochedelosmuseos.gob.ar/programacion_noche_2012_web.pdf

Be ready to wait in long lines in certain museums as most museums have guided tours. The tours will move along the museums fast, so stick to the groups as you'll be able to view as many of the exhibits possible.

Get ready! Noche de los Museos 2013 is taking place this next Sat, Nov 9. Take your time to review the program, museums, exhibitions and shows scheduled at each venue.

Remember to print your "Pase Libre" to ride the buses for free (http://www.lanochedelosmuseos.gob.ar/paselibreimp.html).

Haven't seen anything on the bike system yet, but I remember the "BA Bici" stations were open until 2:00 am last year.

Last year, I found the lines long and the museums uncomfortably crowded. Gave up on the MALBA because of the wait time, but did do the Evita because it's just around the corner from our apartment.

"La Noche de los Museos" takes place this Sat, Nov 15th.
All info on activities, exhibitions, (free) transportation, etc. is available online on FB and on http://www.lanochedelosmuseos.gob.ar/

Barracas, for example, has its own circuit with a bus running every 30 minutes between locations: http://www.buenosaires.gob.ar/noticias/vivi-barracas-en-la-noche-de-los-museos?ppp

Print your bus pass or find it on the printed brochures: http://www.lanochedelosmuseos.gob.ar/pdf/pase_libre2014.pdf
Bicycle stations will be open until 2:00 am.

We tried to go to the Planetarium and it was insane...we waited forever and it was so packed. We drove by MALBA and the line was impossible. I think it's more of a social event than a time to actually go to a museum, so if you want to see and be seen, go for it. Not worth the waiting time and crowds for us.

I just want to vent my frustration at the fact that the official website didn't think to make a map showing all the participating museums! The search feature sucks and the only other option is to see a list of all the museums in alphabetical order. Come on city gov, you usually do so much better....
