I just watched the above video and it kind of inspired me to try some dance classes.

So please share you dance class recommendations if you have participated in one that you liked.
(Especially ones in the Belgrano-Nuñez-Vicente Lopez area!)

I'm looking for non-partner classes like those in the video, but not interested in tango or flamenco at this point.

Great idea. I've also been inspired recently by videos from Elliott Hulse to get out of my head and make a better connection to my body. Dance is an awesome way to do that.

When I came here in 2008 there were free or almost-free classes of all types sponsored by the city. I was partaking in some tango and salsa classes which were very enjoyable. I doubt much has changed since then. Possibly this link is where I got the list of classes, though I don't recall for sure.

You don't need to take classes to dance alone. Just put on some music at home and let your body move to the music. Learning to dance starts with overcoming the fear that you don't know how or can't.
