BBC Panorama documentary shown last night was interesting, but didn't tell me anything I didn't already know.

Considering the lengths the BBC wet to to do this story I'm surprised they only managed 30 mins, much of which was library/archive stuff anyway.

One of the better ones is this, The Land of Whispers:

Made on a shoestring, it puts the BBC documentary in the shade frankly.

One of the many things that strike me about DPRK is the absolute starkness of everything and you then look around you in a big city like BA and think 'do I really need all this?' If you follow.

Aware that this is a serious subject, especially considering recent news from DPRK, having a look at the country's news agency is nothing if not magical.

Is an interesting documentary too. Featuring one of the yanks who defected and stayed after the war.

This one has Danish comedians going to North Korea, the twist, 2 of them are adopted South Koreans and 1 of them is disabled. (North Korea being known for killing people with disabilities.)
