Once-bustling Buenos Aires restaurants hustle for customers

here in Martinez, Olivos all coffee houses are full, and on every corner opens a new one
I can't believe all the new coffee places in Villa Crespo, and they're not cheap. They aren't exactly full either. I don't get what they were thinking, but they probably all opened up in the past year. It's weird. They're charging very close to USA prices.

very much true, same here in Olivos, San Isidro, even when you do not see people sit inside, some coffee-stores doing well with delivery, rappi, also catering for events, wedding, graduacion, birthday parties,..all kind of social events,

Some buy the cliche "Restos are Full "
The population of Martinez,Olivos, Belgrano, San Isisdro, Recoleta and Palermo exceed 1 million . Supposedly over 10 % are very wealthy. One hundred thousand potential customers are enough to fill all coffee shops
Exactly what I was gonna say Rich; people are name dropping the richest neighborhoods in the country and wondering why restaurants there are full; same reason people rob banks, it's where the money is (and in the case of Palermo and Recoleta, tourists too).

I live downtown and restaurants are dead aside from the regular tourist trap ones. Only time I ever have to wait for a table is when I'm in Palermo.
