After months of subtle but recurring leg/butt/hip pain, I got an MRI and turns out I have a bulging disc. The doc prescribed 10 sessions of physical therapy and 4 sessions of osteopathy. He said to do them around the same time. I know that osteopathy is elective and not covered under any obra social (I have Swiss Medical). In his office it's 350pesos/session. I thought maybe they're just trying to make money, but then again it's not that much to pay in case it really does the trick (a bit of research showed that the only thing it's clinically proven to relieve is lower back pain and issues in that region).
Anyone ever had a protruding disc and willing to share their experience with me? Anyone know of a good osteopath in the Nuñez area or surrounds? I would see the one in their office but I start my physical therapy in March and the guy (who is only there on Tuesdays anyway) is out of town all month. Thanks for your recommendations!!
