Hello everyone,

After leaving BA 2 years ago have decided to return. Very happy about it. I know some of you will ask me "why" and I really don't have a good answer except that I love Buenos Aires.

With the exception of ibuprofen (I can't take it) what can I buy there equivalent to Vicodin? If I had a US prescription in hand would a pharmacy sell me Vicodin?

Thanks guys. Getting excited......

Vicodine is paracetamol - generic drug - and you can get it with no prescription at any pharmacy as it is sold over the counter. you can get Dirox or Novalgina - brand names

Vicodin is not paracetamol. Vicodin is a very strong and addictive pain killer that contains hydrocodone bitartrate and acetaminophen. Vicodin is a prescription drug only; it is not available over the counter. Having checked with several friends in the medical field here about the availability of vicodin, none of them know of any legal distribution of this drug in Argentina, as yet.
