Pay Your Debt Cfk

Argentina is a bit like Greece: Argentina won't pay this, simply because the country cannot afford to pay!

Let's see how the SC will rule.

Conservative court. Would be great theater if Scalia and CFK could square off.
Court ruling:

Not to defend CFK but this is not HER debt. It seems to come all the way back from 2001. Her handling of mostly everything stinks obviously but to be fair calling it HER debt is unfair.

True that, but she knew that might happen, so she took the responsibility by becoming president. She might have Idea things might go that way... so there should be no excuse from her side...

An Argentine investor should buy, penny on the dollar, a +2 centuries old debt: the Bourbon Kings one owed by the US (denied to pay after the French Revolution, he he). I can't find any details about this on the Net but I'll keep searching, it could be interesting to see how much this debt would be worth today.

Seems the ruling above took into account the debts owed by other countries and this ruling would not apply to those debts (like the Greek one). Bad point for Argentina.
