Hi, does anyone know at what point you can apply for permanent residency after completing three temporary rentista renewals? Is it straight away or do you have to wait another year? I'm about to complete my third renewal..

You should be eligible for permanent residency now (on the third renewal), but you won't get it unless you ask for it (cambio de categoria).

PS: I did not have to do anything differently when I obtained permanent residency (as far as the paperwork was concerned), but it did take at least a couple weeks to be approved.
