OK folks, got a pet travel question that is a bit tricky...so an English filter for some initial feedback is greatly appreciated before trying to deal with SENASA:
So I'm in BA and planning a trip.
Will be flying to Santiago since it's cheap on Air Canada and they allow pet in cabin.
Then once arriving in Santiago, I'll be taking a bus to Mendoza.
After a few days in Mendoza, it's back to Santiago for a week.
And then, returning home to BA from Santiago.
So my question is...does anyone have a grasp for the process I'd need to undertake for this one? I always do the Vet/SENASA trip and then when in the country I'm visiting, go to a vet there and do the reverse. But for this one, in the same day, I'd be leaving Argentina (needed certificado) but then entering Argentina the same day.
So do I need to:
Vet/Senasa in BA AND Vet/certificate in Chile the same day upon arrival?
Vet/Senasa in Mendoza to get back to Chile 2-3 days later?
Vet/certificate in Chile to return to BA?
In total, we're talking about 14 total days?
Would love any advice anyone has on this tricky trip!
