Hi All!
Does anyone have the CURRENT regulations regarding the CURRENT requirements regarding:

1. Transportation of SMALL pets (dog, about 6kg) on Bosquebus (which is being there usual ¨get a different answer from each person you speak to on the phone¨)

2. Entry requirements for said pet into Uruguay

and shooting for th stars here.....

3. Recommendation for a personal property moving service (no furniture other than a TV and the rest is just clothing and household goods)

This is what you need to enter Uruguay with your dog:

¿Cómo hago para ingresar a Uruguay con mi mascota?
De países del MERCOSUR, de América y de Europa: para ingresar con perros y gatos deberán solicitar en el Ministerio de Ganadería del país de origen un certificado sanitario en el que conste el estado sanitario del animal y la vacuna antirrábica. Se presentará el animal y la certificación sanitaria en la Oficina de Control Zoosanitario dependiente del Ministerio de Ganadería Agricultura y Pesca al ingreso al territorio uruguayo.
De otros países: para ingresar con perros y gatos deberán gestionar previamente en Uruguay, una autorización de ingreso donde se le fijarán las condiciones sanitarias a cumplir por el país de origen.
Para conocer cuáles son los requisitos vigentes a cumplir para el transporte de animales en vuelos regionales e internacionales, se sugiere contactarse con el Ministerio de Ganadería Agricultura y Pesca:

Are you sure Buquebus allows dogs, even "under the seat" types? For some reason I thought not....the rest is the usual SENASA forms here accompanied by fees and vaccination statement from your local vet. Good luck to you and please report back to us about Buquebus permitting live animals

I goggled "Buquebus mascotas" and found this:

MASCOTAS: PERRO, GATO, PÁJAROS
PETC (mascota en cabina), permitido uno por viaje. Que además no exceda los 6ks incluyendo canil.
AVIH (mascota en bodega), permitido uno por viaje. Deben ser transportados en canil, o si el pasajero transporta vehículo (auto o camioneta) podrá transportarlo dentro el mismo sin el canil.
Medidas del canil: debe de ser de material rígido, con ventilación, base impermeable y sus medidas: 45x35x25. No es proporcionado por la empresa. No se aceptará bolso de mascotas.
Perros lazarillos: Viajan en cabina sin canil y no tienen cargo, previa presentación de certificado entrenamiento y vacunación.
Importante: Se deberá presentar por todas las mascotas, independientemente de su categoría, la certificación sanitaria, expedidos por la autoridad competente de cada país.


If your dog doesn't exceed 6K including the carrier, it can travel in the boat with you. If heavier, it has to travel down below in cargo.
