Hello you all.
I have been following these forums off and on for a while, and am now posting for the first time.
I visited Buneos Aires months ago while on vacation, and like many of you here, found it incredible. Now that I am completing my PhD, have decided to open up my experiences by living outside of the United States, and I think that Buenos Aires will do this nicely.
I will have savings allowing me to live there for 4-6 months, but would like to begin to search for jobs now, to at least begin to get an idea of the landscape of the job market there (which I understand is dismal, as it is in the States).
My PhD is in nuclear engineering at UC Berkeley, and am interested jobs in Buenos Aires in energy policy, NGOs, and teaching of math or science, and was hoping that a few of you might be able to point me to some organizations that deal with this? Any tips, or suggestions you might have would be greatly appreciated.
