Phone for sale?

Hi,

I just moved here from Chicago a short while ago and was wondering if anyone had a spare cell phone they'd like to sell.

Also, can anyone recommend the best cell company to use for a prepaid plan, or are they all equally bad?

Movistar the best of a bad bunch

I'd sell you a a handset, but you'd need to unlock it and it would probably be more hassle than its worth. You can pick up a brand new handset for 100 pesos, I'd pick up a cheapie. That way if you lose it, or it gets stolen no biggie.

I have a LG phone that I won't need after December 16, if that's no too far out for you. I bought it at Claro. It works fairly well for calls, but I have trouble receiving text messages (full disclosure, not sure if it's the network or the phone).
