Hi,
I’m Dr. Karin Taverniers, PhD, psychotherapist and intercultural counselor. I am in private practice, and work primarily with couples and families, but also with individuals, many of whom are newcomers (expats, diplomats, newcomers). I also organize workshops for expat spouses. I have nearly two decades of experience dealing with family conflict, cultural adjustment problems, and identity and gender-related issues, among others.
Native of Belgium, I has resided in many countries including the US, Canada, and various European and Latin American countries, before settling down in Argentina. This personal experience was responsible for shaping my professional interest in intercultural issues. I thoroughly enjoy working with individuals, couples and families of all backgrounds and cultures.
