Hello, I'm visiting BA for a week. Some of the tour guide mention puertas cerradas, which sounds very fun. Is this still a thing, or a tragedy of the pandemic?

I've found 1 or 2 that seem to be operating (no open spots during my visit), but otherwise mostly articles from 2015/17 pointing to places now closed.

Most have become real restaurants. There are a lot of great, new, post pandemic restaurants that are similar to the old puerta cerradas. Julia, Picaron, Chui, Nanum, and tons more. Allee Lazar at pick up the fork is a very good source of suggestions.
