Punta Del Este, New Year, Accomodation

Hi, some friends and I are planning on spending New Year and a few days before and after in Punta del Este. Obviously prices will probably double around this time, but for that reason does anyone know of any cheap good hostels/apartments/houses to rent during this time. I understand it won't be a cheap few days but I definitely want to spend this time somewhere beachy and fun and asuming I will have to book soon before everywhere fills up.. If anyone has any suggestions let me know. Also my Spanish is not as good as it should be at the moment and I really need to improve before I return to England in June, if anyone wants to do an English/Spanish swap where you meet up and say speak an hour of both, or just meet up in general and speak Spanish let me knowxx

i can´t help you with the hotel in punte del este but to improve your spanish try this:

FAME- Cabildo 2921. Fridays from 20 PM to 22 PM (The
coffeeshop is located close to the subway station of Line D "Congreso de
Tucumán" that is the last one in the opposite site to Catedral.) It is 20
minutes from Downtown. You can ask for the "Grupo de Inglés" at the coffee
bar. or send an email first to [email protected]

Best Hostel in Uruguay! I went with a friend who came down to visit me in March. The dude that runs it is really nice and speaks english. Its walking distance from the bus station, beach, pretty much anything you need. Has a pool and a really relax , easy going atmosphere! Definately recommend it
