Dear people!

I have a question. I have worked here half a year by now. I have quitted myself the work contract and now I am starting a new job. My last company where I worked, payed the 600.00 pesos working visa.

My question is: When I start a new job now, do I or my new employer have to pay AGAIN the 600.00 pesos? Does anyone know?

I would really appreciate if you could answer me. Of course, if you know.

Thank you in advance,

Margit ([email protected])

No, you don't have to pay an additional $600 pesos if you switch jobs.

You'll have to pay $600 pesos when you renew the work visa and from the new employer, you'll need the "alta temprana ante la AFIP y constancia de inscripción del empleador en el RENURE de la Dirección Nacional de Migraciones" because you used the alta temprana/constancia from your old employer to apply for the initial work visa.

(You'll also need your passport and updated Argentine police record to renew the visa)
