Heading from INFOBAE article today

I was ready to fly tomorrow to Rio...! o_O it was only 3,94.... per dollar.

A typo like that can be rather confusing, and engender hysteria.
Especially in a headline
To be clear, it's 3.94, not 9.94.
Which is still huge, considering at the beginning of the week it was 3.71. That's a 6% increase.
But 9.94 would effectively be the Brazilian corralito.
And the result would be more or less The Purge.

Here's a screenshot of the original - wrong - headline, and the corrected one.

Glad Ben kept the original headline that was later corrected...!

It can trigger a run of the banks... . The responsible of the headline must be in hot water..

I almost had a mini heart attack thanks to the OP's post.

It will be great at 9.94, and all other currencies need to devalue, for example Euro and Yuan. Europe is so messed up, why not devalue ?
