Recommendations for a restaurant for lunch?

Hi all,

I am taking a friend out to lunch to say thanks for a myriad of things and need a restaurant recommendation please.

I am looking for

- any type of food is fine
- a nice restaurant (without it having to be the Ritz etc)
- must be in the Amalgro, Recoleta, Micorcentro area (he has specifically requested that it not be in Palermo......)

Piola above is yummy. Another pizza option is Filo in Recoleta.

OK, I know it's a bit further than you wanted, but I like Salgado Alimentos in Villa Crespo for salads. But their menu has pastas & more. The place is not as twee as the website looks. For something a bit different how about El Buen Sabor which is Cameroonian for lunch. It's in Almagro. I'm going this week for lunch if you want to join.

Outside of Palermo- I'd have to say our favorite lunch has been at Dada.

fantastic food- great ambiance. It really is a wonderful place.

We also enjoyed lunch at the Eva Peron museum. But I don't know what it would be like if the weather wasn't nice.

and I know you don't want to hear it- but love Bar 6 in palermo for lunch.
