I need to report a harrassment by someone to the authorities (probably fiscalia - the public prosecutors who deal with this kind of stuff). I spend a lot of time here since I have family here but I'm on an overstayed tourist visa. I'm in the process of applying for my papers but it's not completed yet. Someone advised me not go to the authorities (police / public prosecutors) as they are getting very strict on tourists - and wondered if anyone has experience in doing something similar on a tourist visa.
