Not too young but mature? That sounds like a wine. LOL. Thanks for the kudos PhilipDT. BTW - PhilipDT is the ski God on the list.
I posted awhile back about the groups that PhilipDT is talking about. There are probably 15 groups that I know about ranging from beginner to speed skating in different locations.
There are beginner groups in Rosedal and at Puerto Madero. The group in Puerto Madero is called Rinconcitonewbie.

There are intermediate groups at Rosedal and in Vincente Lopez. Also, there is a group skate (beginner to intermediate) on Saturdays. Leaves from Puerto Madero and winds through the city on the streets. Its about 2.5 hours, pretty slow, and ends at the Rosedal.

There is another group skate on Sunday mornings that leaves from the Starbucks on Libertador in Belgrano and goes to Tigre. 2 hours, 25 km, Intermediate to advanced.

There is a group skate that happens on Thursday nights. A bit faster than the Saturday skate.
There is a friday night skate that is pretty fast through the city. PhilipDT can tell you about that one.
Then, there are a number of speed skating teams in Buenos Aires. Mostly in Vicente Lopez, the Rosedal, and at Parque KDT (behind the Shopping center Paseo Alcorta. This is the site for the team at KDT.

That's probably enough to get you started. Happy to answer any specific questions you might have.
Buenos Aires has more inline skating groups, teams, events, and races than any city I've ever lived. If you like inline skating you can have a good time here.
