Hiya,

Just wondering if any of you folks have sent your kids to any of the Bs.As. Steiner schools? If so what are your thoughts?

We are only here for a short time, but was thinking about asking one of the schools if my 4.5yr old could join in and play a couple times a week.

Many thanks,
J

There is only one Waldorf school in Buenos Aires city (in Palermo). There are several more in the suburbs. It is unlikely that any of them would accept a child in kindergarten for a short period, because they are full with waiting lists (as far as I know) - and especially if the child doesn't know Spanish, it wouldn't make much sense.

two years later, I am also moving to BA for only 4 months with my now 4-year-old and 3-year-old boys and would love to participate in something at the Waldorf school. Did you ever get anywhere with that while you were here? Any suggestions for nurtuting activities with the kids? I'm a little concerned about the intensity of city life for them, not too worried though. It is only a 4-month stay, but my older one is rather sensitive and easily over-whelmed, so any quiet tranquil spots you may recall or anyone else know of would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
Cindy
