We're here until the end of July, and had much success in Uruguay enrolling our grandson in a local bi-lingual school. Thus far, none of the private schools I have spoken with will entertain the idea of a short-term enrollment.
Can anyone recommend productive schooling or ideas for a young person's enrichment in or near the Palermo area? We visited the Club de Amigos, but that offers little opportunity, and the schools offering Spanish-language instruction offer only private lessons, or do not have other children enrolled. Our grandson is 11 years old, and no newcomer to international travel. We'd like to find some way to get him hooked up with other kids his age, and an educational opportunity has normally been ideal.
