we've all read many a lament for lack of Irn Bru from the Scots on this forum, I was interested to read the attached article and all of the other culinary delights of Scotland. I think I might adopt the Macaroni Cheese Pie, my kids would love it. The deep fried cheeseburger less so. :)

of course if you get it from a chippy you should also get brown sauce on it. (unless your from glasgow then its salt n vinegar.)

I am definitely going to make Rumbledethumps, and the Kedgeree looks yum as well. I did not know that scones originated in Scotland. Have tried making them in the past but they end up like tasty rocks. Thanks for showing there is more to Scottish food than deep fried and haggis.
