Seeking an English-Speaking Therapist

I am looking for an English-speaking therapist for a weekly session. I need someone who is relatively close to Núñez (ex: Belgrano, Colegiales, certain parts of Zona Norte or Palermo).

I have OSDE 210 and would prefer to use that, or even if it is just with a "reintegro." However, I have found that using the OSDE cartilla is futile. The problem is that not only are there a limited number of English-speaking therapists available, but those who have "Inglés" listed next to their name generally do not speak or understand the language very well. I once met with a therapist who was listed as English speaking, but she had only studied it superficially, and I wound up having to speak a choppy mix of both languages to get my idea across.

If anyone knows of an English speaking therapist, please let me know. Thank you!

I found Susana Olañeta through this website. If you search you'll find a thread she posted on. Her email is [email protected].

I saw/see her for couples and individual therapy and she helped me a lot. Her English is very good and I found her approach very practical and based on addressing the issues you are dealing with right now rather than a lot of mucking about in the past.

(I don't mean to insult anyone or their approach to therapy, I'm just done with mucking about in the past myself, but I'm really happy for anyone who finds the approach that works for them, muck away if you must.)

I don't know what insurance she works with. Her office is on Soler and Scalabrini Ortiz so it's easy to reach on the D line.
