Hello all- I recently posted in the New Members forum section as well. I'm 38 and currently live in the US. I spent nine years in the US Air Force as an Information Systems Specialist in munitions and recently finished two Masters degrees in 2012; MS Information Science specializing in archives/records management and a History MA. My specialization is also applicable across the fields of information management and knowledge management. I would greatly appreciate any ideas as to how to proceed in searching for employment. I'm not necessarily in a hurry as this will likely be a permanent move and I'm more than willing to adapt to the necessary job market. I will gladly respond with a great resume/CV. Thanks everyone.

The standard advice applies- come down, spend as much time as you can, "on vacation", researching the situation on the ground.
Unless you get hired by a multinational, outside of Argentina, it will be virtually impossible to get a job without already living here, and meeting people. I would plan on being able to live without a local income for the first year, to be safe.
