La Locanda and Guido's Bar for atmosphere, pasta, etc, Siamo nel Forno for pizza.

By the way, I finally went to Siamo nel forno. A pass to the plain pizza with tomato, mozzarella and basil, but thumb down for the others.
(* I went there the 2nd day I got back from Italy, take me there after 12 months and I might change my rating :lol: )

La locanda: I want to try that! I read a couple of interviews to the chef and even the special menu for la semana de la cocina italiana stands out as one of the most interesting of the 34.
Maybe we should do a special BAExpat -themed lunch that week.

I went to Siamo nel forno with my girlfriend some months ago (read about that place in this forum) and the very same moment the pizza arrived we both looked at each other with a what-the-hell-is-this-thing face. One of the most horrible pizzas ever. Thank god it was somewhat cheap.
