Hello everyone,
I am a student from the U.S. that has been living in Buenos Aires for about 4 months now. I live, for the moment, in the Belgrano area. My classes here are going to wrap up in about a month that will finish up my degree as well. I am unmarried with no children and nothing pressing that needs my attention in the states. I am getting pretty good at speaking and understanding castellano and I don't want to interrupt the process now. For these and other reasons, I am looking into extending my stay here. I am currently browsing craigslist and zonajobs for short term (1-2 months) work somehwere in the city. I am curious if anyone has any advice in regards to finding work, visas, living arrangements, etc.
I can also provide some decent advice to newcomers who are just arriving or who are thinking about coming to spend some time in this unique city.
I looking forward to hearing from you and making a few friends in this community.
Thanks!!
Dylan
