Does anyone know of a good shoe repair place? Palermo area would be good, but I can go elsewhere.

Also it was so nice to meet everyone at the meetup on Wednesday! Looking forward to seeing y'all (and eating Liza's guacamole) again very soon!

there is one on the 4200 block of charcas (near gurruchaga or borges), on the north side. i don't remember the name.

There is a great guy at Guardia Vieja 3985.
I took some ladies dance shoes there and he spent nearly a week trying to get a replacement buckle.
When he failed he refunded my $12ar even though niether I nor my wife were bothered that the new buckle was slightly different.
Since then he has done all sorts of jobs for me, 100% satufaction

Mariposa - muchas gracias! That place was great! It took them a few days longer than I hoped (about 5 total) and it was a little pricey. BUt when I picked my boots up, they looked brand new! (And they had been in terrible shape when I dropped them off.)
