It's never too late to learn.

I go for jogging in evening in parks around Av Libertador and see hoards of people enjoying skateboarding or rollerskating. There is also a person who rents these items in the parks.

I'm planning to try them out. I have never tried any of these before.

Which one do you suggest to try out considering following factors
1. I will be in BA for another 2 months
2. age 36, male, medium height and built
3. fitness level ok e.g. do jogging, cycling, football, trekking etc
4. Which one is easier to pick up the basics by self learning?

thanks for the responses.

Rollerskating is easier to learn quickly, also you're less likely to hurt yourself in the process

yes. inline skating is actually better, easier and more fun than traditional roller skating. You will love it.

At 36 the skateboard is your mortal enemy.

There are many free classes for beginners around the city for inline skating. Search for my previous thread or PM me.

GS.

I just put on the "rollers" to head from my girlfriends house un caballito to my house in Núñez. Not much slower than the 15 and way more excersise. If you see a tall guy covered in bike lights in Palermo soho in 20' just holla.
