and I´m in the process of applying for a work visa. Can I pay the fine at migraciones or do I have to leave the country. Would I be able to pay on my way to Colonia, or do I have to fly out of the country?

Hi,
a friend of mine paid a fine of U$S 50 when he leaves the country and no problem. But since you are in the process of getting a work visa, I think that you should find out in Migraciones office (go with a book and with patience...)
