Someone cashes personal checks drawn on a major USA bank..?

If you're receiving retirement benefits from the Social Security Administration, you should have received a letter about your benefits for 2019 in the mail this week with the news of a 2.8% increase because of a rise in the cost of living.

I just checked my account online and saw that my January benefit was deposited today.

The government is shut down right now, but Social Security Benefit Statements FORM SSA-1099 for 2018 were printed and mailed. I received mine today.
