State School Teacher on Strike- anyone affected?

I just saw this article about public school teachers going on strike, with 350 students affected, were any of your children unable to attend?

There isn't much information in this article, I'd hate to see kids missing out on school, I hope there is a good reason for this strike. Anyone have any other details?

I work in the education sector .. and I have to say school strikes are pretty common, just like in most parts of argentina's public sectors..
