Stricter Border Controls

Ha ha! I worried that that Officer might be offended by my being a Canadian who kept returning to Arg while never holidaying in the US and being unfamiliar with US chain hotel names. I felt he was stereotyping me in terms of what Canadians 'must want' in his eyes. I've never been subjected to that limitation and commercial pressure by any other country's immigration authority. On the other hand, he wasn't the author of the ridiculous policy which made in-transit passengers pretend and lie that they'd be sleeping in the US.
