Sunday nights

I was wondering what it,s like on a Sunday night downtown/san telmo/palermo in the bars.are they open late like fri/sat for example and do many people go out?thanx ,Howard

Definately not as busy - but yes, most are still open. I always like to go out to a bar on Sunday night - to dull the dread of working again Monday morning. The boliche scene is much less I'm told - but I don't do that - but I love to go to Gibraltars sister bar - (Bangalore) and have some curry and a beer! In general, all bars are still open and frequented on Sundays in capital!

"Downtown" is just about as dead as it is on the weekends. Downtown is downright spooky after happy hour on Friday. It wakes back up on Monday morning.

The weekends are great for walking around downtown.

I think it's actually great to live here because during the week you're working and it's close, and on the weekend it's deserted!

H - Actually go to The Gib on Sunday afternoons/evenings quite often, usally after the Hash. We were there yesterday from 5 to around 9. Nice and relaxed, quite a few in, but nothing like Friday or Saturdau nights. Nice way to spend an evening, sat at the bar, reading the paper. drinking Kingston, and chatting to Beaver....
