Hey all,
Anybody know of any open air swimming pools that tourists could use over the summer months? My parents arrive on Sunday for a month and it would be great to have a place to go to on hot days. We're in the Recoleta barrio so the closer to us the better.
Gracias for any info!

Search 'piletas de natacion en Capital Federal' and you find a map https://maps.google.com.ar/maps?ie=UTF-8&q=piletas+de+natacion+en+capital+federal&fb=1&gl=ar&hq=piletas+de+natacion&hnear=0x95bcca3b4ef90cbd:0xa0b3812e88e88e87,Buenos+Aires&ei=lSehUoHvB46-sQTHxYHoBA&ved=0CNABEMgT

The only one with an outdoor pool is

but you have to be an associate member of the club to use it. And all the summer spots are taken.

I know that the Four Seasons has a swimming pool that can be used for a daily fee. Its in Recoleta. Ive never used it but have heard is a nice option for the tourist who want to take the ocassional dip.

The Sheraton Retiro has a great SPA , outdoor pool , and tennis courts....!! can join the Health club for a month or pay per visit,

Thanks a million guys, will contact those hotels to get prices.

There is Parque Norte near Ciudad Universidad ,too. They have three pools but it gets absolutely mobbed in school holidays and on weekends so likely to be noisy etc. It is a big park and I reckon it is home to easily a thousand visitors a day.
