I am curious - did anyone follow the election/vote and how do you feel about it?

I know a lot of my Argentine friends were pretty ticked off about Macri being elected, though they were not surprised.

I think it was a pretty lose/lose situation either way to be honest. I don't know anyone that was particularly happy about voting for Macri (but I know a lot of people that voted for Macri). I think that the general sentiment was that people don't want KK getting a stronghold in the Capital and wanted to send a message to her about the way she's running the country (and I'm not sure they're going to be able to do that as much come the general elections). I think it had little to do with who would be the best governador and more to do with keeping someone who could potentially be a Kristina puppet out of the city.

Filmus was the least bad candidate. Too bad he didn't win.

The people I know prefer Macri and not just because he is against CFK. They like what he is doing for the city. I think the things he has done are what got him reelected.

If I could have voted, it would have been for Macri. He's a douche, but I like the bicisendas and a couple of other projects he's brought to fruition.

I am a big Metrobus fan an admire him for a trying to sort at least some of the big city problems out . I never heard a concrete proposal from Filmus that was original.

Who's idiotic idea was it to build all these pointless handicap ramps? There aren't hardly any people in wheelchairs and besides, all the sidewalks are in horrible shape anyways.

All places applying for habilitacion are now required to have the ramps unless the they have previously been registered for commercial use or the building is a protected one (edificio patrimonial).

yeah fuck those people in wheelchairs be it because they were born disabled, got in an accident and have to use a wheelchair or have just got old and can't walk anymore!

While we are at it we should get rid of those damned cycling paths and build more roads in the city..... ROADS FOR EVERYONE!

But what is the point of having those ramps when all the sidewalks are inaccessible for them anyways?

Why not give grants to house owners to fix their sidewalks instead building these idiotic ramps?

And can someone answer me please? Whose moronic idea was it?
