hesitant to bring about a topic that maybe should not have even made national news if cleared from propaganda, but, still

considering Argentina is a country where trigger happy police officers and civilians, or gatillo facil, have made news consistently for years,

what do you guys think about Trayvon Martin's theme on the American media, and of course of his tragic case

Is it a sign of the US becoming more like.... here, racial tension semi aside

Mr. Zimmerman was told by the police to stand down and ignored this. He created a situation that resulted in the death of the young man. He is the one responsible for bringing opportunity, means and motive (?) to the scene.

I think that when you state that argies (police and civilians) are trigger happy prone you are embracing the Powers That Be and the Media's agenda and misunderstanding the issue completely. They're out to disarm the (honest) people and anyone wearing a uniform. Think venezuelan regime... that's where we're headed.
The police here is poorly educated. Instruction and trainning are criminally inefficient and lacking in every possible way. They're cheaper to replace than to train. They're expendable, not an investment.

Outlaws couldnt be happier.
The US is seeing a different trend, when it comes to armed citizens.

Rather the police SUGGESTED he stand down. Whatever the police told him was not legally binding, its just an opinion.

The case is not clear because Mr Zimmerman was portrayed as a "White Hispanic" member of the KKK who just hated black people and the rest became history.

A WHITE HISPANIC? The media created a new race to put Zimmerman behind bars.

Actually, the case is not clear because the media hasn't been reporting the facts and basically crucified Zimmerman before knowing what actually happened. What has come out since is that it does look like Zimmerman was acting in self-defense AND did at one point walk away from the situation as suggested by the police.

And since the left has created the "white-hispanic" I'm waiting for them to call out Obummer on being a white-black (since he actually is)

Exactly. I watched a CNN report in which they said that they had "experts" within their departments and from the FBI who CONFIRMED without a shadow of a doubt that the person yelling "help" in the recording was Trayvon.

It later appeared that when the father of Trayvon was interviewed and the tape was played to him, he said the person yelling "help!" was not his son. He was asked if he was sure, he said "yes".

Later the father appeared on CNN with his lawyer and he had changed his story to "I'd like to believe it was my son..." and then the CNN host asked a follow up question, "how painful is it for you to KNOW that your son was calling for help and no one helped him?" (paraphrased). He goes, "its very painful".

The media put up pictures of Zimmerman and Trayvon in the beginning and deliberately showed Zimmerman to be "mean" where Trayvon's 5 (or 8?) year old picture was put beside it to show how little and innocent Trayvon was.

This whole case and the way the media handled it was stupid.

It gave the Obama admin, Dems and loonies on the left to go against the second amendment. And people like Jesse Jackson and Jeremiah Wright and the likes got a chance to blame the white man again.

Amidst all of it, it didn't matter that Zimmerman was Hispanic. So what? As long as he ain't black, he's White *insert race here*.

But Obama, who's actually half white, is accepted because he never connected to his white side, and according to his book, despised his mother for a while for being white. Oh but who cares about these tiny little details, he is, after all, the long awaited messiah, is he not?!
