Two non-profit coordinators talk about human trafficking in Argentina

I was telling a friend about this sad reality; there was an anti-slavery raid 40KM south of Buenos Aires not that long ago where the slaves were kept in an electrified fence on a farm, forced to preform manual labor. Often the victims are poorer people from other Latin American countries that get trafficked with offers of jobs that never materialize. Thankfully it's not at the scale of say Qatar/UAE, but it's still an issue.

If you're worried someone you know/see might be a victim of human trafficking you can report it by calling 145, or sending a message via WhatsApp, 24/7, to +54 911 6546-0580
