Hi, my name is Matt, brand new on here but have been reading for a while. Long story short, im a 29 year old Australian with a bachelor of business admin (auditor with our tax office), poor but improving Spanish, I have an Argentine girlfriend, and a love for BA since spending a few months there in 2014.

We are heading back for about 6 weeks in mid March (staying with family in San Isidro for the most part). I want to live there 'eventually' (I appreciate I need to be fluent) but I want to give it a red hot go.

Soooo... Basically I am looking to hook up with someone to do some unpaid work experience, learn some new skills, make some contacts, improve my Spanish etc to test if this pipedream is at least semi viable.

Comments, suggestions, anything, I'm receptive so hit me with it. Also should add that although most of my career has been in tax (which I don't enjoy) I also have some experience in construction both on the tools and and in an admin compacity.

Thanks for reading.
Matt

Hi Matt and welcome
What kind of unpaid work do you mean?

Thanks Gringoboy and thanks for the response.

Mate to be honest, anything. If someone out there has a business (food industry, transport/delivery, construction/building, office/admin) whatever. AND they don't mind having someone hang around that's keen to learn new processes and practice Spanish, I'm up for it.

Who knows, I may even be of some actual assistance =)

Maybe you were asking about what sort of format I envisage the work experience taking? I don't know, informal, casual, like a careers expo for mature age students =) Difference is I want to be there.

Matt, I have no work possibilities or ideas to offer you, but I do like your attitude, and welcome you to this forum. I hope that you come up with some good options. And I hope you will stick around and enliven the discussions here!

Thanks Redbeanz, I appreciate the support and well wishes.

Gringoboy I will have a look now.

Matt

I bet any English institute would be happy to have you work for them. Who would refuse free help?

Suerte!
