Beautiful 4 bedroom townhouse in the barrio of Balvanera. The house is tastefully decorated with art from Argentina and the world. The house has towering double height ceilings and an independent entrance from the street which makes entering and exiting much easier than with an apartment; you just walk in the door and you're home. There is also natural light in every single room.
At the front of the house is the ample living/dining room which has a large balcony that looks over the street. There is a convertible sofa bed and a working gas fireplace in addition to the dining table.
Next to the living room is the study which has a library well stocked with books in both English and Spanish. There is a large desk with a printer/scanner and another pull out sofa bed. There is also a smaller balcony which looks out over the street.
Both the study and the living room are air conditioned.
Next to the living room is the large well equipped kitchen with a small breakfast table, a spacious refrigerator, and a skylight allowing in tons of natural light. The kitchen is also equipped with its own hot water heater, so no problems washing dishes while someone else is showering!
Next come 3 of the bedrooms
The first has a queen sized futon, a ceiling fan, a small desk and a skylight for natural light.
The second bedroom has a queen sized bed, a small desk, a large armoire, a ceiling fan, skylight, and air conditioning.
The third and principal bedroom has 2 windows to the inside of the block, a ceiling fan, air conditioning, independent access to the main bathroom and a massive amount of closet space.
Lastly on the first floor is the recently renovated bathroom complete with all new fixings and a very large antique bath/shower.
Heading up the stairs to the mezzanine you find the 4th bedroom which is a smaller with a single bed and a large desk along with an armoire for storing clothes. This room too has a window to allow in sunlight. Also on the mezzanine is a smaller bathroom for guests which includes a shower.
Upstairs we find the true gem of the house, the massive 120m2 terrace. The terrace is excellent place to have Argentine asados or relax in the small pool on weekends. The terrace comes equipped with an entire second kitchen with a gas stove, sink and refrigerator in the covered area which has 2 ceiling fans for summer and a space heater for winter.
Also on the second floor is the laundry room with washer and dryer as well as a smaller terrace (although not small by Buenos Aires standards) for hanging dry clothes.
The house is located close to subways and buses. Also taxis pass by on the cross street 24 hours a day. There is a large coto supermarket only 2 blocks away which makes shopping a breeze.
This house comes with maid service 2x a week, 4 hours a day. The maid has been working in the house for over 6 years and extremely kind and trustworthy, she washes and changes all the sheets as well as the cloth napkins and dish towels. She keeps the house in excellent condition always.
Included in the price are unlimited local phone calls, utilities, the housekeeping, and high speed Internet.
The price is 1450 dollars per month for rentals over 3 months or 1600 per month for up to 3 months. There is a 1 month security deposit required which will be refunded upon your leaving the apartment.
