Visa extension

I know I've read it here before, but can't seem to find the thread right now about extending my tourist visa through Migraciones. Is it as simple as going to the office in Buenos Aires and filling out paperwork? And does anyone know the price, and whether cash payment is an option? As always, thanks for the help.
