I like to read books the old-fashioned way. I've a number of electronic volumes to share, but I'd also be willing to pay modest sums of hard currency for print books. Got anything for me?

Tell us what you're interested in, and I'll see if I have anything for you.

Thanks, Napoleon. I'll take my chances.

ENGLISH - Basically any acclaimed fiction, as long as the author doesn't crank out a book every three months. I'm thinking, DeLillo, Bellow, Pynchon, DF Wallace, etc. Authors of comparable caliber. Authors I've never read, but should, are also welcome. Any "good" non-fiction, too. At the risk of getting way too specific: I especially enjoy books about the Soviet Union or any other totalitarian socialist state--I find them fascinating. The Gulag Archipelago is far-and-away my favorite work of non-fiction.

Thanks for the replies.

Have you tried the Book cellar in Belgrano? http://bookcellarbsas.com.ar/
There is a selection in the open air book market on the central reservation in Avenida Santa Fe almost outside la Rural, but their selection has got more limited recently. If you go you need to ask for books in English as they are almost never on display in that market.
