My wife and I made it into BA on the 7pm flight from Bogota on the 28th of December. We will be here until the 24th of January; found a nice studio apartment near Cervino and Sinclair; a nice walk to her son and daughter-in-law's apartment on Las Heras.
Already playing tourist (again) the other day we went to the Militar Museo de Armes (OK I am a retired military Chief Warrant Officer) and then walked to Ave Florida, found the leather shop that made a nice winter coat for me two years ago and ordered a nice dark blue leather blazer to take home to Michigan when we leave. If it wasn't for the wife's condo in Acapulco, apartment and house being built outside of Bogota I could picture a winter place somewhere in Argentina...I have a friend in DC who will be retiring from the service in the near future and wants me to check out Mendoza for him...road trip!
