I remember a siilar one in Martinez where they escaped by boat in an underground tunnel.I do believe the case is still ongoing!!!

There was a similar modus operandi in one of the most famous bank robberies in France 35 years ago :

The gangsters are even supposed to have had dinner with wine (some say too champagne) inside the vault once the robbery had been perpetrated (that's real class!).
